A PERMANENT HOME FOR DOMINION MODERN?

TD Bank
T-D Bank, Queen & Ossington Branch, Toronto 1966

DOMINION MODERN has been in research mode and building partnerships in the past year since we lost our Peter Dickinson home at 59 College Street. We are still looking for a small mid-century building in downtown Toronto. If you know of one, let us know.

Last year we were looking at a former T-D Bank. The owners were planning to vacate, and with your help we were going to purchase and restore the former branch of the Toronto-Dominion Bank.

Our plan was for a permanent museum that would contain space for administration offices, galleries for exhibitions, a research library, archives, museum store, and architects? lounge.

It was to be a first for Toronto, the complete restoration of a work of Canadian modern architecture. Celebrating it with an exhibition on Bruce A. Etherington, architect of the bank.

We need your help in finding us a home. If you know a suitable location please let us know. Make a donation. Offer your expertise. Offer to fundraise for us. Help make this dream a reality. Dominion Modern is a registered charity. We offer tax receipts for all donations.
